I've never posted anything regarding this book. I assume it's because I never really understood it, and so much has been written about it, I really couldn't add anything.
I re-read it this past week (posted 10/31/2018). Read some parts closely; skimmed much of it. A very, very difficult book.
Three hundred seventy three pages of very difficult reading, but then on page 369 the reader is amply rewarded. And the funny thing: I've not read any reviews about this part of the book.
There are so many themes. Some of them:
- a travelogue;
... and that was my last note. I've read the book at least three times. It looks like it may be time to read it again.
