- on the cover off the Beatles album Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, "Lewis Carroll" appears at the end of a row of faces, sandwiched between Marlene Dietrich and T. E. Lawrence (p. 14).
- born, January 27, 1832 .... skip ahead to page 33 and get this with no comment from the author, "... In October 1887, he took Isa Bowman, then aged thirteen, to a matinee performance of the popular Wild West Show put on my 'Buffalo Bill' (Colonel William F. Cody), ..." Hmmm. No comment. Carroll was 55 years old.

Page 80: We meet Alice for the first time. Carroll probably first saw the Liddell sisters, Edith, Lorina, and Alice, on/about February, 1855. Carroll first became interested in their brother, Harry, then aged eight. But apparently that relationship did not evolve and Carroll turned his attention to the sisters.
First, March 8, Lorina, the eldest.
Subsequently met Alice.
Born May 4, 1852. So, in 1855, she was three years old?
