1) York wins at St Albans, #1 -- now on throne, King of England
- Clifford, Lancastrian, orphaned when father killed here; killed by Yorkist
2) Wakefield: surprise; York's forces lose; 1460
- Margaret meets York in battle (remember Henry VI in the Tower
- York's youngest son, Rutland, killed
- York, himself, also killed
- Sir Thomas Neville also killed
- Clifford killed York and Rutland (revenge for them killing his father)
- Clifford and Northumberland killed York and Rutland
- Sons Edward and Richard learn of their father's death and their youngest brother's murder.
- Sons Edward and Richard unite with Warwick, a Neville, "kingmaker"
- Warwick declares son Edward the new Duke of York, can't be king because his father York was killed and Henry VI still alive
- A deal with Margret to release King Henry VI but disinherit Margaret's / Henry VI's sons from becoming king
3) Mortimer's Cross -- the three sons
4) St Albans, #2
5) Towton:
- Duke of York (Edward) and Richard (to be III) and Warwick defeat Lancastrians
- Margaret flees.
- Clifford killed -- complletes that "cycle"
- Henry VI re-captured.
6) BUT, BUT, BUT -- a broken promise
