Chapter One: Pulaski Street
Biological father died when Barbra was an infant.
First home, Puulaski Street in Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Second home, after her father died, lived with grandparents on Newkirk Avenue, Flatbush neighborhood in Brooklyn, to the north of Williamsburg.
She never knew her biological father. He ha a history of migraine headaches / seizures. After injection of morphine for a seizure (his first?) he died.
Mother two children and then with second husband had second child. At the time, Barbra about eight years old when Barbra's mother remarried.
A lot of new Jewish words in first chapter.
First mother, next door, Tobey.
Second mother, Choy's theater, Mrs Choy.
