The second, I've mentioned on the blog. I had planned to eventually buy it myself but here it is, a birthday gift. Other Minds: The Octopus, The Sea, and the Deep Origins of Consciousness, Peter Godfrey-Smith, c. 2016. Godfrey-Smith is also the author of Metazoa which I've written about on the blog previously.
