A Coincidence of The Third Kind

Yesterday, I flew from San Antonio to Los Angeles to join my wife and her family for the holidays. My wife was already in LA at the time I arrived. I brought three books with me for my holiday reading:
The Great War and Modern Memory, Paul Fussell;
The Portable Henry James (Penguin Classics), by Henry James and John Auchard; and,
The Edge of Evolution: The Search for the Limits of Darwinism, Michael J. Behe.
On the very first day I arrived in Los Angeles, my wife and I visited the Huntington Beach library. She picked out the following book for my reading pleasure:
House of Wits: An Intimate Portrait of the James Family, Paul Fisher
My wife did not know what three books I had brought with me; in fact, she did not even know I had brought any books with me to read. In addition, she says she did not know anything about Henry James. I have never mentioned the name Henry James to her. The only reason I brought the Henry James book was because I had put reading it off for so many years, I thought it was finally time to read it if I wanted to stay true to my reading program.

This is very, very coincidental for her to have seen that book on the racks and pulled it out for me.
