North Dakota banks bulge with deposits. "We're growing at 20% a year in deposit growth, which for rural North Dakota is unheard of. Before this happened, I think a lot of bankers would have told you that one of their concerns is how we are going to sustain the deposit side of our balance sheet....

Ratings agency raises Bank of North Dakota's credit rating.

North Dakota agriculture setting new records. The state's 1Q12 export figures exceeded $1 billion for the first time ever. That represents a 35% increase over the same period last year....since 2000, the state has seen a 400 percent increase in export volume, with much of that growth related to agriculture in one or another.

The  Pilot Travel Center and Truck Stop at the 13-mile corner north of Williston will feature Cinnabon.
